Sarah & Aaron’s Malibu Wedding! – Part 1 of 2

I’ve said this time and time again, but I can never say it enough: to me, the most amazing thing about what I do is getting the opportunity to meet so many interesting people. From my first meeting with Sarah and Aaron, I knew that their wedding would be fantastic, fun and memorable. They are both creative, kind and obviously so in love- I knew we were a perfect fit to work together from the start. Not only were they just great people to work with, but they wore fabulous attire, they had an amazing private estate as a venue in Malibu, they chose a top-notch coordinator/production company, had beautiful details… and the party was a seriously fun party! This is definitely a wedding I’ll remember forever… and I have so many favorite images, it’s going to take two posts to show them all.

Coordinator: Jowy Productions

Special thanks to Regis Chen and Meg Perotti for helping me out that day! Could not have done it without their help.

The ladies got ready at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica. These Louboutins drove me wild… Loved that big, funky flower on the toe.

The dress was Carolina Herrera… that “S” detail was a special gift from the designer and served as Sarah’s “something blue.”

Aaron sent over a special gift to Sarah… love this reaction.

So beautiful…

The guys got ready at Aaron’s family home on the beach. His parents had this car all decorated especially for them- I love this tradition and think they did an amazing job mixing in the shoes, soup cans and Sapporo beer can!

The guys always have a slightly different ritual than the girls for getting ready. Special thanks to Regis for these great photos of the guys’ process!

Aaron looked so great in is his custom tux… and he definitely knew how to rock it!

These white YSL sneakers and striped colorful socks brought the perfect funkiness to the tux. Loved!!

Sarah all dressed and ready… She looked so gorgeous and happy.

Loved the gardenias in her hair… my favorite flower.

Sarah & Aaron met in Berlin, so we had to get some photos in front of this painting… one of my favorite images from the day.

One of my favorite shoe series ever.

Love.

One of the many reasons I loved Sarah & Aaron- they were sooo looking forward to some jumping photos of the whole wedding party! Here’s Aaron showing them how it’s done. 🙂

Everybody up! Love.

Part 2 will be posted soon and will feature a few more portraits, the ceremony, details and the party!
