A couple months ago, I photographed Kristin & Pete’s maternity sesssion and at the time they didn’t know whether they were having a boy or girl. They wanted it to be a complete surprise. About 2 weeks ago, I got the exciting email that they had welcomed their beautiful baby boy Adam James into the world. I was so excited to meet him!
This is AJ at 11 days old.
How cute is his crib and that adorable modern sheep mobile that was originally designed for MOMA.
I immediately saw that AJ is such a special, intelligent, alert and interested little baby.
Have you ever seen a newborn smile for the camera? We were all really impressed. 🙂

AJ rolled himself over onto his back! At 11 days old, he rolled over for the first time and I was there to watch. Kristin and Pete were speechless.
