Lenny and I have known each other since high school… which means we have known each other for about 9 or 10 years now. Craziness! One of my most vivid memories of Lenny back then was on a snowboarding trip for a friends birthday. A bunch of us headed up to the local mountain for the day, it was Lenny’s first time boarding (my second, which was a mess!) and he tried a jump. I’m pretty sure I’m the only one who saw it happen, but Lenny didn’t land the jump… for a moment I thought I’d have to scramble down the mountain to get help…. but he eventually made a noise and then somehow got up. I hope he doesn’t hate me for telling that story, but it really is a classic moment in my memories of fun with high school friends.
Lenny asked me a few weeks ago to shoot new headshots of him. I had shot some last year, but he now has a new haircut and therefore needed new photos for the new look! We met up last week and had a quick shoot. It’s always fun to hang out with Lenny and even better to get some great shots at the same time!
Here are a few of my favorites from the day… not all are appropriate for headshots, but I wanted to post them anyway.
A quick shot of Lenny putting on his tie. I love the cinematic feeling of this shot…
We were interrupted by a phone call…
Thanks, Lenny, for being such a great subject!
Happy Monday, everyone!
