The best part about being a wedding photographer is definitely the people I get to meet who I would otherwise never get the opportunity to know. I was totally inspired by Erin and Steve from day one. They are kind, creative, spiritual and just have this great presence- positive, calming and comfortable. I knew their wedding day at Inn of the Seventh Ray would be really special and unique… and so much fun.
The beautiful dress was designed by Jenny Packham and inspired the rest of the butterfly details that were carried through all elements of the wedding.

Erin is a yoga instructor and shaman, so Inn of the Seventh Ray was the perfect location for their shamanic ceremony. The traditions I learned about during this ceremony were really beautiful and inspiring.
After the ceremony, we spent some time taking portraits… I decided to take the couple across the street from the venue and we just happened to find this amazing field. Seriously? This setting, this lighting, this couple… could it be more perfect?
