Culver Hotel Engagement Session – Culver City: Ashley & Alex

Now, to Ashley and Alex’s engagement session…

I knew I wanted to photograph Ashley and Alex’s wedding from the moment I met them and learned just how kind, warm and friendly they both are. I often say that the best part about this job is the people I get to meet, and Ashley and Alex are definitely two of those people that make me exceptionally happy to do what I do. 🙂

They are getting married this Summer at an amazing venue called Marrakesh House here in Los Angeles. I have never shot there before, but I know their wedding is going to be gorgeous and I can’t wait to shoot there for the first time!

Ashley and Alex knew they wanted their engagement session at the Culver Hotel because they are having their rehearsal dinner there and fell in love with the place when they saw it. Who wouldn’t? I absolutely loved the style of this upstairs lounge… the colors, textures and fun decor… and I especially loved that Ashley was able to arrange that we shoot in there. Here are a few of my favorite images from our morning session.

I loved Ashley’s dress- it was perfect for the decor and vibe of the lounge.

And I love the way her face lit up every time she looked at Alex. 🙂
