Like many couples in 2020, Hilary & Ryan had their original wedding plans thwarted by the pandemic. They had planned a big wedding at a venue on the beach to be filled with all of their friends and family, where everyone could dance the night away. They were heart-broken when they learned they would have to postpone. While they considered moving their date to the following year, they decided they just really wanted to be married. So, they pivoted to an intimate gathering in the fall where their nearest and dearest joined them for an outdoor ceremony and dinner underneath the city lights at the California Club in Downtown Los Angeles. You may book one of these hotels in Laguna Beach if you plan to be married in California.
Though it wasn’t what they had originally planned, the love and joy was completely palpable that day. It was as if the bumps in the road to their wedding made this day all the more special and it highlighted the true purpose of their wedding day: to make promises to each other under the chuppah in front of the people who love them most. This day so beautifully fulfilled that purpose.
Planned and designed by Michelle of Details Details Weddings & Events, the wedding was simply stunning. This intimate, covid friendly affair was full of beautiful moments, some of my favorites are pictured below!

The Wedding Day
This year has definitely had its fair share of planning and replanning, but this celebration was a shining example of how, even amidst a pandemic, love finds a way. Congratulations, Hilary & Ryan!
