Viceroy Palm Springs Wedding Photos: Betsy & Andriy

I’m so thrilled to announce that Betsy and Andriy’s wedding is being featured today on the fabulous wedding blog Green Wedding Shoes. There are so many wedding blogs out there, but Green Wedding Shoes is definitely one of my favorites and I’m honored to be one the photographers featured on its Vendor Guide. I have posted two Sneak Peeks from this wedding, but have held off on posting all of my favorites from the day until GWS was able to publish it today.

Betsy & Andriy live in Chicago and hired me to photograph their destination wedding at the Viceroy Hotel in Palm Springs without ever meeting in person. We had many emails and phone calls regarding planning all the details for the day, and I was thrilled to finally meet them in person the day of the wedding and see how all of those details came together! Despite a little rain, their day went off without a hitch thanks to the lovely ladies of Celebrations of Joy.

Betsy chose a dress by Amy Claire that was simple and elegant… so gorgeous! The robes that Betsy bought for herself and all of her bridesmaids were by Pretty Plum Sugar.

Her bronze and gold BCBG heels were amazing.

Betsy commissioned two ladies to design her hairpiece, which was my favorite part of her whole look! She told me it was her favorite part, too. 🙂

I loved that each of the bridesmaids got to show off their own personal style with their shoes and accessories.

Betsy looked stunning!

The proud father seeing the bride for the first time.

Shooting at the Viceroy is so fun thanks to all the fabulous decor… two of my favorite portraits of the happy bride:

Amazing florals by Jensen’s and the handkercheif that both Betsy’s mother and grandmother carried on their own wedding days. Her mom had it embroidered for her as her “something old” and “something blue.”

The ceremony.

Married!

Andriy was so comfortable and stylish in his Indochino tailored gray suit and Burberry tie. You can never go wrong with a tailored gray suit in my eyes.

Then we had fun with some bride and groom portraits in and around the Viceroy.

A favorite. 🙂

Another major favorite. 🙂

There were so many fabulous details. The paper goods were designed by Be U Brides.

It started to rain that day, so they had the reception area tented with this clear tent so you could still see the night sky.

I adore long tables and family style dining! They make for amazing photos. 🙂

Congratulations, Betsy and Andriy! And thanks to Green Wedding Shoes again for the feature today!
