Our fourth trip together as a group is now over and what a great trip it was! What started out as a bit of a networking opportunity with our first trip to Palm Springs has developed into a lovely tradition of getting away together- not only as photographers, but as dear friends. We share our lives with each other and have connected with one another. They all inspire me in so many ways and I’m so lucky to call each of these amazing women a friend.
This trip, we spent our time in a great house in Joshua Tree in the middle of the desert right here in Southern California – just about 2 1/2 hours outside of LA. And it was all documented on our blog atravelingheart.com. It was the perfect 3 days of talking, laughing, cooking, eating, drinking (wine, beer and fun cocktails for them- sparkling water for me), crafting, Dance Central-ing, and shooting. But, for me, it really involved less shooting than on any other trip we’ve done. We were all busily Instagraming and Tumlr-ing our images to our tumblr blog, but I really only took out my main camera one of the days- the day we paired up and photographed one other person in the group.
