San Francisco Engagement Photos – Alicia & Jeremy – Part 1

Alicia and Jeremy are both from Pittsburgh but are now living in California. Though they are getting married in Pittsburgh in 2013, they wanted engagement photos here in Cali where they live and have lived for years now. After some time in the Palm Springs area, they have settled into a life in San Francisco, a city I love. So, a couple weekends ago Brian and I headed up the coast to meet up with them for a session in that glorious city. Side note- being from Ohio, this was Brian’s first time in San Francisco so it was really fun to get to show him things like Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time!

We did two locations for this session and because I loved so many, I decided to break up the session into two posts. This, Part 1, was shot at Fort Point. I have shot there before, but it’s such a cool location I didn’t mind. Plus, though it was  bit windy and cold, we avoided the rain that the forecast said my happen, so we were happy!

Jeremy is an amazing metal worker and designer, so shooting underneath the Golden Gate Bridge seemed so appropriate for what he does and the kind of art and architecture they like.

They look so good together!

This was an experimental shot- and there’s something about it I just love so much. It has an apparition-like quality about it that makes me happy for something different.

Part 2 was shot at Sutro Baths Ruins and was such a cool shoot! I’ll be posting that in a few days!
