Petersen Automotive Museum Wedding – Featured on GreenWeddingShoes.com!

Back in January I shot Katie & Mark’s super fun and fantastic wedding at the Petersen Automotive Museum right here in LA. You may remember Katie & Mark from their comic book engagement session late last year. With these two creative people, their wedding was sure to be an event to remember with lots of fun, unique details! A real retro, 1950s inspired wedding with lots of personal flair! And I’m happy to announce that it is being featured on GreenWeddingShoes.com today!

 

The happy couple got ready at the Farmer’s Daughter Hotel in LA. Such a cute hotel in the middle of the city!

I loved Katie’s beauty inspiration…

Katie did a boudoir session with me just before the wedding and presented some of the images to Mark on the wedding day as a little surprise. I LOVED that she presented them in a comic book! Such a cute idea that he loved.

Katie’s gift from Mark was a very sentimental gift and even made me get all teary-eyed…

Katie looked so gorgeous and I just loved her style!

She had an amazing bouquet made out of a bunch of her grandmother’s vintage brooches. So special and beautiful! I just loved this.

The colors of the hotel went perfectly with their wedding colors. Here is Katie with her bridesmaids.

Katie was simply the happiest bride! Such a happy day full of tons of love.

After the ceremony, the wedding party and I headed over to LACMA for some photo time at the Urban Light Sculpture.

Katie’s ring was designed by Mark himself. So amazing.

Such fun details including Pez dispensers for table cards and vinyl records as menu/place mats on the tables. I also LOVED the comic book-inspired table names.
