Parker Palm Springs Black tie Wedding – Ariel & Greg

This Parker Palm Springs black tie wedding from last year was such a beauty! I just realized that I posted a sneak peek for the wedding last year, but then totally forgot to publish the whole post! But this beautiful wedding deserves a full post so much. So, here we go!

Coordinator/Designer: Geller Events
Dress: Naeem Khan
Venue: Parker Palm Springs

To start, let’s just talk about the gorgeous decor at The Parker. It’s known for it’s mesh of Moroccan and desert mid-century modern. And it’s just so good.

Then there’s the bride’s classic style. That dress was so simple and elegant. It felt like classic glamour at it’s finest and I loved it so much! Naeem Khan is so good.

The Welcome bags designed by Geller Events were perfection! Not only were all the little goodies adorned with custom labels for the wedding weekend, but they also designed the CUTEST schedule of events for the weekend in the form of a coloring book!

The back of this dress deserved so many shots… I couldn’t help it!

The First Look!

Check out that reaction! I have endless love for a First Look!

A favorite image!

Thankful to my second shooter Ally for getting some great images of me behind the camera. It’s fun to be able to share the behind-the-scenes of how I shoot an image in this way!

So here’s the shot I was shooting in the above behind-the-scenes photo!

Loved this moment.

A simple wedding party with their siblings!

I loved the dresses she chose for her sisters/bridesmaids!

Their sweet dog Hudson was their flower girl!

So we had some fun with portraits with her. 🙂

Then we went into the lobby of The Parker for some fun images on their famous hanging chairs.

And some more utilizing that amazing entrance!

This was a happy accident where the groom walked into frame while I was shooting the bride. But I love it so much more with him in the shot!

Had to play with some bougainvillea!

A classic shot of the couple off to get married at their post-sunset ceremony!

Just need mom to add the veil and the bride is ready to say “I Do.” This moment melts me.

The ceremony space is so pretty.

Some photographers might be afraid of having to shoot a post-sunset ceremony. But, I welcome the change and the challenge of a low-light ceremony!

Mr. and Mrs!

Now off to the dinner and to party! I loved how they set up all these long tables outside with all the pops of color!

My favorite reception detail shot… That boug was insane!

Congratulations, Ariel & Greg! Let’s go back to that weekend!
