It’s that time again… the heat is still in full effect here in Los Angeles, but it’s time to start planning for your fall family sessions! Being able to create beautiful images for families has been such a gift for me, especially during 2020, and I look forward to a busy season ahead.
I am happy to announce that my mini sessions for fall 2020 are now booking! I’m offering THREE different dates this year at FOUR different locations–there truly is something for everyone in this mix. And, as is the theme of shoots this year, all will be shot with me wearing a mask and maintaining social distance (no contact) throughout.
Read below to find out which Mini Session speaks to you most. Then, simply click on the link for that date/location and you will be taken to the booking page where you can sign up and pay for the session. You’ll receive an email confirming the booking.

Once you sign up and pay for the session, your session time and date cannot be changed! So please double-check your time, date, and location before completing the booking process.
Last year, there were a few technical glitches with people trying to book times at once. If you experience difficulty with the booking process, please try refreshing the page once and attempt to book again, or try booking in a different browser. If you continue to have issues, please email me. However, please note that I cannot reserve times in my system manually so attempting a different browser, or attempting from a different device, might be most helpful to ensuring you book the time and date you want most.

In-Studio at The Revery

The Revery is a gorgeous new photo studio and event space near the Arts District in LA and I’m SO excited to be able to offer clients a chic, indoor option for their mini session there this year! The studio is 14,000 sq ft allowing for plenty of space to socially distance while I shoot your session wearing a mask. Start times for families will be spread out and staggered for minimal interaction with other families and hand sanitizer will be readily available for all entering the studio. Parking is available right outside.
Advantages of an in-studio shoot:
- You won’t have to deal with hot weather outside. Even though I wait until the end of October and early November so that we can avoid the warmest weather, it can sometimes still be warm out which doesn’t often go with the seasonal wardrobe of sweaters and layers that many families want. Doing a shoot inside helps with that!
- If you’re a returning mini session client, these sessions will give you a totally new and unique look to your images I haven’t offered before.

Sunday – Oct 25th – MORNING
Arlington Garden Pasadena

Arlington Garden of Pasadena is a beautiful community garden area with sweet little benches, beautiful trees and lovely little nooks and pathways throughout. I always love photographing families here. The light in the morning is my favorite plus shooting here early allows us to beat the weekend busy hours and to also beat the heat that we may still have in October. Parking is free and on the street right outside the garden.

Temescal Gateway Park

Temescal Gateway Park in Pacific Palisades (15601 Sunset Blvd.) is a really great outdoor space that has tons of trees, shade, and a great stone stairway area providing for a few different options for backdrops. I always love shooting here and with its plentiful parking it is a great, convenient place for an outdoor mini session. Parking is $10.

Saturday – Nov 7th – MORNING
Point Dume Malibu

Point Dume (6800 Westward Beach Rd.) is one of my favorite beach locations to use for shoots. It’s a beautiful beach with pretty rocky bluffs for some interest in the background. It also has a convenient parking lot where parking is $10 making it easy for families to access. Sessions on the beach need to be early in the morning for best light and to avoid crowds. 🙂

More interested in a Full Family Session?
Mini sessions are amazing for a small collection of images, but you might be looking for more. Full sessions have the benefit of more time together (1-1.5 hours), more images in your gallery, and you get to choose the location and a date and time that works best for you. Full sessions are $1050 for LA & OC locations.
