Yesterday, I made the drive out to Palm Desert for Mandee’s bridal shower. She asked me to be there to photograph a while back and I’m so glad that I had the day open so that I could attend. Not only was the party great, it was a fun opportunity to get to know Mandee better as well as spend time with her bridesmaids and other friends and family. It’s great to really get to know clients before the wedding. All of the ladies there were so welcoming and kind. Thank you all for such a fun afternoon!
Here are a few of the photos I captured yesterday. I’m going to try to post a slideshow soon.
First, Mandee (center) and her bridesmaids. From left: Krista, Larinda, Mandee, Jennifer, Shannon.
Baby Reigeghan and Grandma.
Larinda. Maid of Honor and Shower Planner Extraordinaire!
The lovely Krista.
The cake. How fun is that “M”?
Some of the details…
Left: A game of who knows Mandee & Doug the best. I thought Question 5 was particularly interesting.
On the right: Marriage advice cards. What a cute idea.
Doug’s daughter and toilet paper dress Supermodel, Deidra.
The TP Wedding Dress Winners!
One of the ongoing games of the day was that nobody could saw the word “wedding.” The person who caught someone else saying that word got that persons’ charms. Here’s Mandee having to handover hers to Shannon.
At one point I had 5 of those babies. I think I was actually ahead at that point.
Presents!
The adorably shy Alyssa.
Alyssa wasn’t quite a happy-camper with having to wear toilet paper.
Finally, my Shootsac matched the decor of the day!
Great fun! Can’t wait for the wedding at the Miramonte Resort in Indian Wells! Only one month away!
Oh my! That little girl’s face as she is standing there wrapped in toilet paper!!! PRICELESS!
Heather- You were such a pleasure to meet. Your work is amazing. I kept bragging about how great you were and showing friends and family your pictures. Jon(the husband) and I would love to do family pictures with you. I’ll get a hold of you on all that at a later date. I know you live far, so maybe we can come to you or something. Can’t wait to see you soon!
