When I first started talking to Dorota and Chris about their wedding, they emphasized how much they love the snow (Dorota is from Poland, afterall) and how much they wanted to take photos in the snow… and I was beyond excited to comply! Shooting in new, unique locations is one of the most inspiring things and no weather or terrain can keep me from trying to get some cool shots if I have willing people to be my subjects. I was so happy Dorota and Chris shared that enthusiasm because I love the portraits we were able to get on their wedding day.

The wedding party.
Chris and Dorota had a great bridal party who willingly ventured across a snow-covered field to make it down to the lake for some photos. It was freezing and windy, but they all wer such troopers!
The biggest trooper in the bunch was definitely Dorota- she barely flinched at the freezing wind and was just happy to be next to her new husband. 🙂 All of the following images make my heart happy.
