Just for Fun: A Night of Aerial Acrobatics

      In addition to my photography, I am also a part-time graphic design/multimedia teacher at two local colleges. On Thursday, I filled in for another teacher in my department which just so happened to be the evening that the class would be taking video of some fellow students who are studying aerial acrobatics. We, as a class, set up some video cameras and some special lighting to get some interesting shots. Of course, I brought my 5D along with me (as I often do just in case an opportunity to shoot should arise), so I was able to grab some pretty cool shots as part of my attempt to shoot more — both weddings and portraits, and just for fun for myself. :)        These two performers are incredibly talented and were a joy to watch! I absolutely loved the movement and was amazed at the control they had over their bodies. Truly amazing. Here are a few of my favorite shots that really demonstrate the movement and beauty of this art form.
