I mentioned before that I got a new dog a couple of weeks ago and he has quickly become one of my favorite living creatures on the planet. Yes, he’s chewed on one of my favorite shoes… and yes he’s a little rambunctious at times (I love that word… rambunctious)… but, he’s so smart and he has this personality that is just so lovable! I couldn’t even be mad when he chewed my shoe!
He’s a German Shepherd and is a little over a year old. Though he’s still pretty much a puppy, he’s big and powerful, which we have learned is quite a combination. He’s also a World traveler as he was brought over by his previous owner from India when he was just a pup. I find that to be such a cool fact about him.
Today, I finally had a chance to get some photos of him in the backyard. So, ladies and gentlemen, I introduce to you Wolfie!
I tried to sneak a few shots of him while he was laying in the grass in great light, but as soon as he realized I was outside, he was up to see what was going on. He’s so interested in everything going on around him at all times.
It took me a while, but finally I got him to lay down and be still for a moment so I could grab this shot.
He looks so regal here.
Tired boy and hungry boy. If you wonder where we get his food, check out treehousepuppies.com. We also get all his toys from there. Hassle free.
One of his favorite things to do is play in the pool. He doesn’t go too far… just sits on the top step. But, he LOVES it. He splashes around and sometimes he’ll drop some of his own chew toys (like is favorite yellow rubber ducky) in the water just so he can fetch it out. This stick I threw in there this time… and after the first time he tried to get me to do it quite a few more times. His other favorite game? Keep-away! He’ll run back and forth across the backyard forever as long as you’re chasing him trying to get what he has in his mouth.
Finally, after realizing I was pretty over throwing the stick in the pool repeatedly, he had a quite moment on the grass . I love this loo. It’s like he’s saying, “Don’t even try it!”
I’m sure I’ll take many more opportunities to post about Wolfie in the near future. 🙂
He is fantastic! It must me dog day because I just posted about my doggie friend.
I ADORE Wolfie! I’m his biggest fan. I especially love the shot of him getting his stick out of the pool. very cool. maybe him and maybelline can have tall, pointy eared, snaggle toothed puppies! we can call them wolfelline.
Awww wolfie!! What a cutie 🙂
I love your pup. Mine is just as big and I still see him as my baby.
They are wonderful and no matter what they do you can’t seem to get mad. 🙂
love the dog shoot. we just got a puppy and we love taking pictures of her.
What a talented lady you are. I love the dog shots. I can’t believe he is only a couple of months older than Shoebox. I’m pretty sure he could eat Shoe in one bite.
Wow, he is really gorgeous, and the shots of him are amazing.
When he gets his cone taken off you should do some shots of Shoobie!!
Well the yawning picture is my favorite.
take care of wallace…he looks great…give my love to him…thanks..
