A Rainy Wedding Sneak Peek – Hotel Californian Wedding

Rain on a wedding day? For this couple, you would have thought it was planned that way! Thanks to their amazing planners at Bustle Events, the rain had zero effect on the fun this couple had on their big day. And as a creative, I loved the opportunity to make beautiful images with the extra challenge and had fun playing with some clear umbrellas I brought along.

As for the reception, it was held at the outdoors wedding venue in Gatlinburg, TN, so those clear umbrellas came in handy throughout! It’s not like there wasn’t a single roof in the place, but when moving around they were needed a bit. Plus, people got to take those home as a present, so everyone was happy!

Also, this was only the third or fourth wedding at Hotel Californian, a fairly new venue in Santa Barbara. And it was SUCH a stunning place. I can’t wait to get back there to shoot another wedding soon!
