I’ve always loved Halloween… the dressing up, the fun decorations, the cooler weather and feeling of Fall (as much as you can feel it living here in Southern California). As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that the excitement I once had for dressing up and going trick-or-treating has been replaced by the excitement for the return of the pumpkin spiced latte at Starbucks. But alas, now that I’m a parent that excitement for Halloween has come back full force. Though Charlotte is far too young to really get excited about this time of year just yet, she did happen to really love the costume Brian and I picked out for her! To us, she’s the cutest little elephant to ever walk this planet. 😉
And while I’m thinking of it, has anyone noticed that they make and sell more good Halloween costumes for pets than they do for babies?? Next year I’ll go the crafty mom route and make one for Charlotte since the stores have some very slim-pickings…
