The Griffith Observatory is hands down my favorite place in Los Angeles. For those not familiar with the Observatory, it sits on top of the hills of Griffith Park and overlooks the entire city of LA. To me, it’s a place of wonderment. The expanse of the Universe has always fascinated me and the Griffith Observatory is the perfect place to go to be reminded of how vast the Universe is beyond our lives here on Earth.
To me, it’s romantic in the best way and is the perfect place for a special night with a special person. And that’s just what Stu thought when he took Tracy there for their second date. They both declare that though this wasn’t their first official date, it was their first date where they knew for sure they had found something special.
I had met Tracy and her mother during our initial meeting and instantly felt that they were the sweetest people in the world. They both glowed when they talked about Stu, so it was great to finally meet him the day of their session and to be able to witness how perfectly matched these two people are. Here are my favorite images from their session that day. 🙂
I’m obsessed with Tracy’s hair! She’s so beautiful.
Stu is a semi-pro cyclist, so we had some fun incorporating his bike into a few shots.
Tracy and Stu- I had SO much fun with you both and cannot wait for your wedding in December. xoxo
The bike ones are fab! very cool. and I also love the observatory. I have only been in LA for a total of about 4 days, and didn’t get to see much at all, but I loved this place, and wish i could have spent longer than 5 mins there. (although when i went it was so smoggy, you could hardly see anything)
great images, I imagine they will be stoked with them.
Love them all. You manage to always get so many striking shots. The one that really lingers with me is the Marilyn Monroe moment, only not staged, so even better. Classic.
These are beautiful, and the view of LA is amazing! They look so happy in love 🙂
