Greystone Mansion Engagement Session – Laura & Josh

When I think of the perfect location for a portrait or engagement session, something like Greystone Mansion comes to mind. This location is a DREAM! Everywhere you look there is a stunning place to photograph thanks to the architecture, the beautiful landscaping, the neutral stone that covers the property and not to mention the amazing light! So when Laura & Josh mentioned they wanted to do their engagement session here, I was ALL in.

Deciding a location for an engagement session can be tricky. And generally, I don’t like to get too hung up on where we do a session as I know that more important than anything is the light we find and the connection I can document between the people in my images. However, the location can offer so much inspiration for a shoot and can really help to tell a certain kind of story that the couple wants to tell. And I just love the story that beautiful Greystone Mansion helped us tell!
