I went to New York City a few weeks ago to photograph Lisa & Doug’s engagement session and had the best time with them! New York has always been such a magical city to me- the energy and the movement of the city is just so different from that of here in LA and I love it. Not to mention, Fall is an amazing time to go- the leaves in the park, the brisk weather, the people walking around in their scarves and jackets. This session totally feels like Fall and I just love it! And don’t let Lisa’s outfit fool you- it was really cold and she was a champ!
We started the session at the Seaport because Lisa loved the feeling of the exposed brick and cobblestone streets that can be found there. I loved it, too!
Then it was off to Central Park for a change of scenery. 🙂

My then fiance (and now husband!) came with me on the shoot and caught some great shots of Lisa & Doug as well as of me working behind-the-scenes. 🙂
