Celina & David’s Cravens Estate Wedding on GreenWeddingShoes.com

I was super excited when I found out that GreenWeddingShoes.com would be featuring Celina and David’s super cute wedding I shot back in September. GreenWeddingShoes.com is one of those wedding blogs that never disappoints with great ideas for planning your wedding, and all things related. I’ve heard from so many brides that they just love reading about all the advice and ideas, and seeing all the amazing inspiration!

Last week, Jen and the Green Wedding Shoes team published their Vendor Guide, a hand-picked list of vendors for all the major cities across the country, and I was super excited to find out that they included me in Los Angeles Photographers. To see the photographers with whom I’m listed was such an an extreme honor. If you are looking for a vendor for your own wedding, they have chosen the best-from florists to accessory designers- so I would recommend checking out their Vendor Guide for some great contacts. 🙂

Now, onto the wedding I’ve been waiting to share! (There are a ton because they had so many great details I wanted to share.) The wedding was coordinated by the amazing Esther Kim of MyBrideStory.com. She is SO sweet and fun, and super talented. I so loved working with her and her team. The florist was Hannah Koo who is also super sweet and talented and created some of the cutest floral designs

Celina and David both lived back east when they booked me, so I didn’t get to meet them until a couple weeks before the wedding. I couldn’t have been more pleased and happy when I met them- they are both so sweet and fun, and so obviously happy together. And, hello…. how gorgeous is Celina?

Cravens Estate is a gorgeous venue in Pasadena and I loved the old feel of the architecture and indoor decor and accents.

The pattern on this wall in the bride’s room made me happy.

David was looking good in his suit- I loved the gray with the aqua tie.

Fun shoe shots are not only for the ladies. Lilly Harvey of ShoeAdviser gave a report that one of the main things that stood out was the groom’s elegant pair of shoes. It really brought out the personality in his walk.

First Look.

I was in love with Celina’s dress… the lacy detail on the bottom was so fun.

The wedding party.

The details of this wedding were amazing. Hannah Koo created some of the cutest florals! The floral accents throughout were perfect in every way.

The ceremony was really sweet and beautiful.

Directly following the ceremony, Celina and David had a traditional Korean tea ceremony which is called a PaeBaek. I had never photographed a PaeBaek before, but before the wedding I found an awesome explanation of the tradition on MyBrideStory.com’s Web site. I love that I get to witness and learn about such amazing cultural traditions when shooting weddings.

The reception details were some of my favorite.

They created a candy bar and wish card station out of an old library catalog, which I loved. Such a cute idea and definitely represented Celina and David having spent countless hours studying together in the library in college back east.

Esther of My Bride Story set up lawn games on the large lawn behind the venue. I loved the croquet!

Celina made the cake topper. 🙂

Celina and David- I am so happy for you both and wish you all the best in your future!

Thanks so much to Green Wedding Shoes for the feature!
