Beverly Hills Wedding at the Albright Fashion Library – Marina & Matthew

Eleven days. That’s how long Marina & Matthew had to re-plan their wedding. They were supposed to have an intimate affair in St. Barth’s, one of their favorite destinations, but when pandemic travel restrictions prevented that, they pivoted to hosting a small party in Beverly Hills instead.

Marina & her mom, Irene, run the Albright Fashion Library. When they realized a wedding in LA would be the best choice for them, they decided to use the Los Angeles location of the fashion library – a mid-century home high in the hills overlooking LA – as the venue. Fashion had definitely inspired Marina’s vision from the beginning, so it was only fitting that they celebrate in a space known by stylists and celebrities alike as the place to go for the most special designer pieces.

The fashion, the food, the cocktails – it all came together to create a truly special evening. Though it wasn’t the wedding they thought they’d have, it was no less meaningful and actually added to their story as a couple, just as this pandemic has added to every wedding story out there.

It doesn’t get more classic than The Beverly Hills hotel, which is why Marina chose that as the place to get ready as well as for the first look and some portraits before the ceremony.

Then it was off to the Albright Fashion Library for the ceremony and dinner party.

Just married!

Their dog Chase pretty much never left their side the entire day.

After toasts, Marina changed into this amazing dress for a little dancing. I loved seeing how excited she was to wear this and twirl around!

Congratulations, Marina & Matthew!
