Bel Air Bay Club Wedding – Lisa & Doug!

Lisa & Doug live in New York, but since Lisa is from Southern California they wanted to have their wedding in Los Angeles. You may remember Lisa & Doug from their NYC engagement session I shot back in November- the one where Lisa braved the really, really cold weather to wear that really cute yellow dress. Loved her for that. πŸ™‚ After that shoot I knew their wedding would be nothing short of amazing.

Coordinated by Wayne of Moments By Wayne, the wedding at the Bel-Air Bay Club went so smoothly even with the impending chance of rain. He and his team were so wonderful to work with and made sure that the day was the perfect, fun, memorable celebration Lisa and Doug had envisioned.

As a side note, this was the last wedding I shot before officially going on maternity leave. Though I felt really great the whole day and had no problems shooting the entire day (pretty proud of that!) I’m thankful to my my two assistants for the day Ally and Kelly for all their help and great work. Also Lisa & Doug, their family and friends and Wayne’s team who were all so kind and fun making my job especially easy that day. πŸ™‚

Lisa got ready at the beautiful Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel with her mom and all 11 of her bridesmaids.

The amazing sparkly, pink Kate Spade shoes. πŸ™‚

I really think Lisa was smiling the entire day… and her smile was infectious.

Meanwhile, the guys got ready down the hall and were practicing their magic tricks.

Doug just before he got to see Lisa for the first time.

The First Look.

From the sneak peek and such a favorite from the whole day…

Flower Allie designed the florals and they were really beautiful.

Lisa is so beautiful.

The guys.

Fun bridesmaids details. I loved this neon yellow necklace so much.

The wedding party.

Lisa’s mom rocking an amazing fascinator. Loved!

I loved how they used various alcohol bottles as the vessels for the cocktail hour flower arrangements. Who knew beer bottles and Patrón bottles could be so chic??

The ceremony.

Loved this moment between Lisa’s parents during the ceremony!

Married!

Loved playing with Lisa’s veil for a bunch of portraits.

A favorite. πŸ™‚

Then it was time to party.

They treated their guests to an awesome bluegrass band during cocktail hour. Loved!

Simple, bright and clean centerpieces.

These people knew how to party.

Doug’s band played a few songs during the reception.

They had an In-N-Out truck come to surprise their guest who were mostly from other states around the country.

The Grand Exit!

Congratulations, Lisa & Doug! It was an amazing day and I was so happy to be part of it!
