Two years ago, I had the honor and pleasure of photographing Melissa & David’s elegant and gorgeous wedding at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. When I say honor and pleasure, I mean those words whole-heartedly as working with them from our initial meeting to this very day has never been anything but fun and easy. I love this family and am so lucky I get to have clients like them who keep coming back to me to photograph the most important moments in their life.
In June, Melissa & David welcomed beautiful baby Isabella into the world. Instead of a newborn session, they opted for a session when she was about 12 weeks old, after they had time to settle into their new home and have her nursery ready. Though I love newborn sessions and think they are so special because they get to document those very first days of the baby’s life, this session was so much fun because we really got to see her sweet personality show through. Plus, those eyes! Those gorgeous, big blue eyes!
Melissa is an interior designer, so I had no doubt that the nursery would be beautiful. It was a dream to shoot in this sweet space they have created for their little girl. Here are my favorite images from their session…
