A Wedding in Downtown Los Angeles – Cafe Pinot – Aimee & Case

You may remember Aimee & Case from their engagement session I posted back in March. It was a really fun downtown, chic session that reflected all that they were planning for their big wedding day- and their wedding day didn’t disappoint! With coordination help from their lovely coordinator Kendra Turlouw of Prima Events, and design help from her mother, Aimee poured herself into the planning of her day and the care for the details really came through! Here are more than a few of my favorite images of their wedding day… it was tough to choose. 😉

They got ready at the Hilton Checkers Hotel, right around the corner from their venue.

Since their venue, Cafe Pinot, is right behind the Los Angeles Public Library, they went with a book theme for decor. This Kate Spade Pride & Prejudice clutch was the perfect little accessory for Aimee!

The lovely Kacee Geoffroy was in charge of all the hair and makeup for the day and she and her team did a lovely job! (See her blog post about the hair and makeup she did for Aimee for the engagement session here.)

Case wore a classic black tux which I always love.

Aimee & Case chose to go with a First Look and planned for plenty of time for portraits before the ceremony so that they could really enjoy their party later on. Made photos so smooth and easy!

Love the black and white polka dots for the little girls.

The ceremony:

The escort cards were designed like old fashioned library cards and each gave an interesting fact about the author (table name). Such a fun idea!

Aimee and her mom spray-painted old books in various shades of gold and silver to add interest to the centerpieces. Such a cool idea.

Congratulations, Aimee & Case!
