I had never shot an engagement session on a boat before, so I was pretty excited for this session on Nick & Lauren’s boat in Newport Harbor! It was a total bonus that the clouds just happened to be extra amazing that day thanks to an incoming bit of rain. Sometimes, things just work out. 🙂
Both natives to Orange County, Lauren attends USC and Nick went to University of Arizona. I love how they’ve honored both schools with flags on the boat.
Nick is a true UofA fan. 🙂

When we were done on the pontoon boat, we went down to the beach for more photos with the awesome clouds.
They chose October 11th as their wedding day before they knew, but it just happens to be the day that UofA and USC play against each other in football! They are going to honor that in a fun way at their wedding, so they needed some photos of them in their alma mater gear.
