Emily & Dustin wanted a beach session and after discussing a few options, we all decided on Point Dume. I can’t tell you how happy I was to do their session there! I had been here before, but somehow never ventured down these stairs and so I never had seen this magical little rocky cove. It was the perfect little place for a pretty beach session. Add in Emily’s amazing outfit and the whales and dolphins we got to see swimming not too far off shore and you pretty much have the most dreamy beach engagement session ever. 🙂

I don’t usually shoot with an extremely long lens on engagement sessions so I wasn’t able to get a closer shot of this whale- but there were a few of them and they seemed to be big!

Emily said she looked all over the west side for the perfect maxi skirt for our session… and it was so worth it! Thank you, Emily, for taking my advice and choosing something flowy for the beach. It was so much fun to shoot and made these photos extra pretty. 🙂
The love that Emily & Dustin have for each other is so obvious… and they had no problem being lovey and affectionate in front of my camera. This shot from the Sneak Peek I posted a week ago feels like that love…
