A Los Angeles Engagement Session - Laurel & Jody - Los Angeles Photographer

It’s pretty crazy to think that Laurel and I have known each other for just about 10 years now… though we’ve been through a lot together as friends, it also feels like we couldn’t have possibly bet when were just 19! Time is crazy like that.

Laurel is one of my besties- one of those women I can turn to when I need to talk, to get advice, or for someone to just listen. We’ve spent many a night talking about life over a glass (or two) of wine and those conversations are some of my favorite in my life. We always find a way to have a deep conversation that somehow involves a quote from Beyonce – that B is wise, ya know – and that’s just one of the things I love about Laurel. She is also an amazing artist and illustrator and blows my mind even with the simplest of doodles that she is known to do on cocktail napkins when we are out for a drink. A few years back, Laurel was introduced to Jody through a mutual friend. I was at her house when she was getting ready for their first date and little did I know that years later I would be photographing their engagement session in their new home. I love how life works like that!
