Trina & Shane’s Wedding

On July 28, I had the absolute pleasure of second shooting with my great friend, former roommate, partner in LA adventures and future television co-star (well… in our minds anyway)– the fabulous Meg Perotti. Meg and I always manage to have fun together, no matter what it is we’re doing, and shooting Trina and Shane’s wedding was no exception! What a great couple to shoot… they were both so kind and fun and even included gifts for the vendors at the end of the night! Not to mention, shooting on the yacht in Newport Beach was such a great change of pace.

Coincidentally, Kim Fox shot Trina and Shane’s engagement photos! Small world!

Here are quite a lot of photos from the day… I just couldn’t narrow down my favorites any more!

While Shane was getting ready, I had fun with getting some shots of the rings. This is my favorite:
A couple relaxed portraits of Shane:

The moment when the bride arrived to the church. I love all of the expressions on the girls faces…
The ceremony was in this great little church in Laguna. Trina sang a song to Shane as part of her vows… It was really touching.

The lovely Trina:
Before the yacht launched, the Captain warned those of us on the deck to cover our ears while he sounded the horns. We just happened to be shooting a few romantics out by the
“Wild Goose” lifesaver. So while everyone was covering their ears, I braved the deafening sound to capture the moment in the second image, which I think rounds out the series quite nicely! 🙂 FUN FACT: The Wild Goose used to belong to John Wayne, which I found out the day after the wedding. I was wondering why there were photos of him everywhere! 😛

The Wedding Party! — Such fun people.

During the toasts, I shot the speakers while sitting at one of the tables. Right in front of me was this cute baby… I just couldn’t resist those great, big eyes!
The amazing sunset:
As I was shooting the cake, Meg was snagging a photo of the couple greeting guests. This was an accident, but I totally love it.
As Meg and I adventured around the yacht during the reception, we came across this group of guys who were having their own party, away from all the dancing.
A great moment on the dance floor:

The lovely Meg Perotti. 🙂
