Jennifer & Maurice had their wedding at the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion in Downtown Los Angeles. I had the priviledge of assisting Kim Fox again on this one. I really love working with Kim, she’s such a great photographer, warm person and is truly an inspiration. And… she’s going to be a mom soon! She’s nearly 7 months pregnant and still shooting!
Jennifer & Maurice are such great people and they really knew how to throw an elegant party for their big day. Jennifer is gorgeous and I don’t think she took one bad photo! The venue was really beautiful and inspired more classic photography…Here are my favorites from this wedding.

We snuck into the theatre for some formal shots, and just as Jennifer was entering in front of me, I noticed the light falling on her from the pendant light above. It was so beautiful and classic-looking, it reminded me of a photo of one the classic leading ladies. This is definitely one of my favorite portraits so far.
The staircase with all of the mirrors in the Pavillion was so architecturally beautiful I couldn’t resist.
During the speeches I hung out in the back of the room while Kim was shooting the close-ups and just happened to capture this moment. I love when that happens!
This couple was such a blast! Their energy was almost contagious… just watching them interact and have fun on the dance floor made me want to dance myself.
What a beautiful day… definitely one to remember!
Are you using that lens for those first shots? and natural lighting on that 2nd one? I need to get a firm rental list for this summer!
