Documenting A Family Through the Years

Remember my recent post about Lauren & Nathan’s newborn session after they welcomed sweet Marlowe into the world? I have photographed not only their newborn session, but also their engagement session, wedding, and maternity session. And I’m grateful that I’ve been able to do that for many families. So, I thought I would start a new regular post here that shows how I have documented a family through the years!

I love looking back on images from an engagement session after seeing a couple bring a baby into the family… I love thinking about how they had no clue what was in store for their future back then, and now look where they are years later. I imagine they might think the same while looking through old photos just like I do when I look at mine… It’s a fun journey to take, I highly recommend it. 🙂

We shot their engagement session in November 2014. I remember loving spending time with them so much!

Their wedding was in July of 2015 at the beautiful Ojai Valley Inn. Lauren wore the most gorgeous Inbal Dror gown, her hair & makeup were done by TEAM Hair & Makeup, and the day was beautifully planned by Park & Grove Events. I loved everything about it!

Fun fact- I was 7 1/2 month pregnant with my son while I shot this. 🙂
