Behind-the-Scenes with a Wedding Photographer

Today, I thought it would be fun to share some behind-the-scenes images of me photographing weddings over the past few years. I always love seeing behind-the-scenes content, so I wanted to share some myself!
Here’s a little look at what you can expect when you see me working on your wedding day or portrait session…

Shooting a wedding in Palm Springs. Obvi super happy about it!

Pregnant with my daughter in 2012 at this cheery Palm Springs wedding (then the Viceroy, now Avalon).

This was a fun one! I’m that dot in the middle on top of the TV Guide building in Hollywood. I was shooting from that rooftop toward the rooftop of the Roosevelt Hotel where my bride and groom were hanging out. I know that technically we are working, but my second shooters and I usually take a minute or two to do some moves on the dance floor… 🙂

Shooting a gorgeous wedding at Paramour Mansion in LA- this dress was designed by Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen and they were actually there to help the bride get ready! Talk about nerve-wracking! Click here to see this full wedding post.

Sometimes, I’m not just a photographer. I play many roles at various times throughout the day. I help with dresses, fix little hair issues, carry things around, and sometimes I even help a bride with her lip gloss like at this Ojai Valley Inn wedding…

Here, I was pregnant with my son in 2015. I love that I have these photos of me working while pregnant that I can show my kids one day.
