Jean and Andy were originally going to have a beachside ceremony and reception at a Villa in Cabo, but their wedding was scheduled to happen one month after the horrible hurricane hit the area early last Fall so they had to change their plans only a few weeks before the wedding date. They live in San Francisco and chose to change to a venue closer to home to make it easier on all of their guests – having a wedding at the Ritz-Carlton isn’t such a bad backup plan! Regardless of all the changes in the eleventh hour, their day was gorgeous and it went off without a hitch! Well, maybe there was one small thing that happened during the ceremony… but you can read more about that below or on watersoftenermaestro.com. 🙂
I loved the Jimmy Choos that Jean chose to go with her gorgeously-fitted Inbal Dror gown.
We spent some time taking portraits around the city. I loved that they allowed for plenty of time to take portraits around the city – such a great thing to do to make sure you get lots of great portraits in great locations.
This dress fit her like a glove.
The ceremony was moving along perfectly until it was time for Jean to place the ring on Andy’s finger. You see, Jean had told Andy not to forget the ring from the safe in the room where he was getting ready. But, for some reason, he thought she had the ring. Long story short, neither of them had the ring and they had to borrow a groomsman’s wedding ring to use during the ceremony. It was such a great moment with great reactions and I’m sure they will be telling this story for many years to come.
Congratulations, Jean & Andy!
